So, you can know that I am the happiest, most joyful missionary cause I love sharing this Gospel.
Well, I hit the 6 months marker! And what a six months its been. Full of awesomeness, laughs, struggles, trials, love, and mostly a time of growth!
This past week was steller, the work was super super great, we teach from sun up to sun down! But, this past week my compi, Elder Valencia, went down with a hard core cough, Tos! Poor guy was coughing all week long, and sometimes the leaders dont help a lot with sickness...but I took care of my comp. I made him sleep and rest. We cant do this work when we dont feel good, its hard to complete our duties. Elder Valencia is the man and just kept going, teaching, preaching and helping a lot of people. He is really is incredible, He has gotten a lot better over the past few days, which is a great blessing. We werent able to teach in the mornings which was sad, but the work is going really really great here in this marvillous area! We had 3 investigadors and 10 menos activos in the church yesterday, which was a huge miracle and opened up a lot of work to do. We had a steller misison activity on Friday, Karoke! My team...los incredibles...we won! my team always wins...whatever elder valencia says my team won! I had the chance to read a whole lot this week cause my comp was sleeping a bunch, and there are so many things to read, the hardest time is just finding the time to read. If we can just set a side a few minutes of our life, and read the scriptures or the words of our incredible Prophet, the daily trails, struggles, set backs...well be just a little bit easier to handle!
Aritcle of Faith 13, is my new favorite. It talks about suffering, or struggling, we have to struggle to learn, we have to suffer to expierence the joy. but we never suffer in vain, we also suffer for things that are beautiful, virutuous, and incredible! I sure do love this gospel with all my heart, I know and can testify of the joy that comes when we live the commandments and follow his Doctrine. He lives, and only through his infinite Atonement can we feel this joy, Lehi expresses this joy so well in Chapter 8 of First Nephi. 10-12. The joy that comes when we share this knowledge with those we love and with everyone is the most incredible Joy. So, you can know that I am the happiest, most joyful missionary cause I love sharing this Gospel.
Thank you so much for all of the prayers, support, emails, and love!
