It was a cool part of my week, when I realized the symbolizm of the water of the eternal life.
Few points of this week!
We didnt have water for a week...all of trujillo, yup bum dry! a main tube broke and so nobody had water it was really sad, i said something last week about it in my letter with a foto, yup like a day after we didnt have water so that was fun! I bathed with a bucket of water and a cup! awesome! this is what i sent to pres! ---The question for this week is Tiene agua...haha sorry, most of trujillo didnt have water this past..so practically ever house we went to asked if we had water. It was pretty awesome. It was a cool part of my week, when I realized the symbolizm of the water of the eternal life. I was sitting in our room studying and in our little park all of the people gathered in the middle and waited for the water truck to pass by them and give them a little water to cook, to bath, and do the normal daily things of life. And I thought back to Christ at the well with the Women of Samaria, That he is the Water, he is so esencial in our daily lifes. We cant go a week without him, without his blessing, without his atonement. I sat and pondered and thought how we can we help these people recognize the lack of this water in there lifes. I think its by the little actions. A smile in the street, being happy in there neighborhood, helping them see that we have the truth and for this we are happy and full of light. It was small, but I learned a lot from the lack of water in Trujillo Peru, and I learned how to bath with a cup and a bucket of water...coolest (literally coolest) shower of my life.
This week we worked with all of the conversos and menos activos! we taught about family history and helped families start...we worked with about 10 families! sooo awesome! one of my favorite if not favorite parts of the Gospel!
Mom, I gave AnaMelba the Christmas Card, haha she started crying with joy! She will cherish the card forever...and will show the whole world! it was so funny!
As many of you know My Grandfather, Arthur Bryan Marshall Jr. passed away this week on Tuesday! I Know that He is happy with My grandma Mae, having been seperated for 5 years. I know they are diligently preaching the gospel and helping many people and families on the other side of the viel! DyC 128
