Dear Family and Friends,
This week was spectacular!! I received my next companion in this great mission, it was a lot different this time because we helped and gave suggestions to President about all of the missionareis and possible asistents, so it was a little bit different. Anyways we found out on saturday night, about a week ago that my new companion would be Elder Craft. Now I must explain a few things here about Elder Craft.
Elder Craft and I arrived to the airport in Salt Lake City together 16 months ago on July 15, 2014. We traveled to peru together and then we were placed in the same district in the CCM. He was on of my greatest friends in the CCM. So, great of friends that he, if you remember from many many emails ago about a lamanite army...he was the cause of this great lamanite army. pasted below.
Lamanite army of latinos:
So during dinner saturday night, Elder craft decided to drink his favorite beverage Mtn dew, I decided i was going to take the last sip...just cause thats what friends do, anyways he got pretty mad, and talked to all the latinos, the latinos didnt think that it was to cheveras either, entonces, he raised this large army of latinos against me, so after the days over i went upstaries was talking to some people in a room when all of the sudden about 30 latinos came and picked me up ran me to the end of the hall, craft came through the army with a brooom and started fake kicking me and there all chanting k, i get slide by my foot into a different room of awesome nephities, stay in safety for a min or so then run to another nephite room anways craft finds me in that room with his army and calls me to repentence. USTed NecECITA ARRPENTIRSE AHORA!!!!! all the latiinooos go crazy!!!! the coolest thing ever!!!
yupp its a reall thing i get bullied here!!
Anyways, he is now here with me now as companions. Asistentes to President Marler. We have had a wonderful week together. He has picked everything up so very quickly. We have been in the middle of the process of interviews and so he just jumped in and now we are interviewing together. He is teaching me so very much! he has such a great energy to him. He shared a scripture this past week in 2 nephi 9:39 about Espirtual minded. He is a very spiritual minded missionary and he brings a special spirit with him. We are going to learn so very much together.
I think my very favorite moment this past week happened about 2 nights ago. We were just getting back to the room and decided to eat a little bit of dinner before getting some rest. He were headed on a 2 day trip the next day to Guadalupe. During the day the secretaries Elder Olsen and Romero said that there was a very interesting smell coming from my bathroom. We went and checked and we found some little poops in my shower and a little puddle of yellow pee. We had no idea where it came from, but it was not okay. We searched for a little while and we found the guilty friend, roul the rat! He was perched on a shelve behind a few things. Anyways we flipped. Just imagine this Elder Craft, Elder Bond, and Elder Marshall trying to catch a rat. We made a game plan, grabbed the cameras and it was go time. We locked ourselves in this small room with 2 brooms and a bucket. it was sooo funny. The true men came out of us three. We screamed like little girls trying to caught this little guy. Elder Bond had a soild swing, qui quan doo style. Elder Craft was the camera man and I was the in charge of the bucket, (you know I had 5 sisters) We finally caught him and took him outside and let him free on the peruvian road. We are almost postive that he probably ran off 20 meters and died because...ya know... While we like to think that. We just didnt have it in us to kill the poor little guy.
I have been thinking a lot about the impressions of memories on our lives. Memories are so very important. Christ was so very perfect at making each and every expierence that he had with others very memorable. 3 nefi 11:14-15 One by One they came, but One by one they left forever knowing that Christ was there savior and that He lived.
Love, Elder Marshall
There he is!!! I love these two soo very much!
Roul the RATTT!!! Mouse in the house!
He is in that bucket with a rug over it!
Offically an asistent. exaughsted!!
