Well the mission life is crazy as normal! This week we sure did have a lot of fun, a lot of laughs, a lot of journeys all while preaching the gospel. My companion Elder Soliz is doing great, his eye is a lot better, and I believe he has adapted to the crazy mission life with Elder Marshall. We worked really hard this week teaching a lot of people. The advantage of being in the same area for a super long time is you know everyone and there stories and how to help them, well im working on being better on how to help them, thats where the spirit comes in. My companion Elder Soliz has been such a great blessing in that aspect, he is always super focused on having the spirit. I fall in the motions and speak my own words sometimes and I need to be better on having the spirit always to know what to say, how to say it, or if not to say anything. Its one of the greatest parts of the mission, we get to learn how the Spirit works! All the people are doing really good. This past week with the Family of AnaMelva she got to know hermana simona my momma! they are best pals now. We also had the chance to work with a lot of news, With Elder Valencia we focused a lot on getting the people to bautismo and there wasnt a lot of time to teach news, and so Its our focus to find a lot of strong investigadors. So that has been a lot of fun, and we are definantly learninga whole lot!
The ward is doing really good, we have a lot of fun, and there like my big family. Its fun to see all the people in the church, and see who weve been working with and who weve served throughout the week! The mission life is just great. The Bishop who is in the stake presidency is still our bishop for a few more months, poor guy, that will be really interesting! The ward still has a lot to improve but there so much different, seen a lot of changes in my time here, serving in barrio Trujillo!
We taught a bunch this week, we averaged about 6-7lessons everyday. Im so greatful for a great companion who is willing to just work as hard as he can, the poor guy sometimes is drifting off in the lessons, in sacrament meeting he was out, and our little converso Piero was like Elder Marshall...either your comp is sleeping or thinking really hard...Ithink hes sleeping. haha poor guy, but hes just as happy as can be! Im so blessed to have the best comps!
Okay two crazy awesome crazy weird stroies!
I decided to write a book about Hermana Simona. titled! MAMA SIMONA! in the suger cane. the stories and secrets of hermana simona. I told her all what I was going to write in it, and we just laughed and laughed and laughed! if ya want a copy its....5 soles!
The other story sooo...Yuriko, our Alma Rescued had her baby last saturday, anyways it got blessed yesterday, she just kept asking me if I could bless her baby....I really didnt think I was going to be blessing any other babies but my babies! anyways it turns out the Bishop blessed it! wooofff! But heres the kicker, the name!
