I just feel like im becoming a better me, I feel the power of the atonement in my life daily, and I feel so much more in tune with the spirit...
This week was absolutley wicked!! So many wonderfully good things happened and terrible things. Thats what makes being a missionary the best!! Your always always on your toes!
We started the week out with a great pday on The Beach that was incredible, so great to get to know the missionaries better, and just have a good time together they are the best!!! The zone is huge so we have a blast!!
We had a Tuesday and Wednesday to get our zone training ready, which is such a spirtual expierence and is such a blessing to be a part of this grand Work of Salvation, we mainly just worked way hard in our area those two days, we just have so much work to do there in the ward, But we are progressing with a few investigadroes and less actives we are teaching! The greatest thing is we all ways have a member with us when we are preaching and this week our lesson have been so quality, so full of the spirit. Our teaching method has been so much clearer and a lot more powerful. We have gone 3 weeks with about 44 lessons with a member present and 2 others, Its soo incredible to have the support of the members and our ward mission leader! This Ward has such a potencial, and im so excited and blessed to be serving in this area!!
Thursday is the day when the whole week flipped aroung! haha We did our training, and wow, it was very spiritual, we talked a lot about how we need to have the spirit always, and DyC 42:14. Its something our zone needs a lot is knowing how the spirit works and when they feel the spirit strongest in there lifes and why! I think I learned the most from it, thats for sure, And then we ended by talking about how we need to become the Amos of our Vineyards, or the Loveres of our Areas, we talked about how Jesus Christ was the perfect example and how he made his work so personal, When we make the work personal, it becomes a part of us, and the spirit is present in every second, and we become missionaries that give all of our Heart, Might, Mind, and every once of strength!
We finished the training and a hermana in our zone got really sick and was throwing up, anways we ended up taking a unexpected trip all the way to Trujillo, and took her to the hospital, we got back to our area at about 8:30pm and we taught a quick lesson. It was a great expierence to help a Hermana figure out whats wrong with her, and a great chance to get to know my Companion, Elder Cowley, he is on of my very best friends and im so very glad the lord has put us together.
Alright then the very next day two elderes got sick because they ate a unknown fruit, long story short they ended up in there bathroom together throwing up, Yup, that was absolutly crazy, there doing a lot better and luckly it wasnt a deadly fruit! But its been a little bit of a sicky week!!
I think the one thing that I learned the most this week, there was so many things, I just feel like im becoming a better me, I feel the power of the atonement in my life daily, and I feel so much more in tune with the spirit, a gift so so precious in our lifes, sometimes i think we forget about the spirit, and his very important role in the atonement. I feel like we can achieve peace with ourselves through our hope in the grace of god, and we know we have achieved it when we recieve spiritual comfirmations. They all work together, The Father, Christ, and the Spirit, they cant be one without the other. I am so very greatful for this understanding that the fullness of the restored gospel allows us to find. Seek and you shall recieve. knock and it shall be given unto you!
I love you all, Have a wonderful week always striving to have the spirit with you, he will guide you i the dark!
