Hola, loved ones,
This week was GREAT! I can not even describe to you how much I love being a missionary, and im exaughsted. Well, we got to the temple 2 times this past week. We took about 15 the first trip, and 60 the second trip. Its about an hour drive from casa grande to trujillo! Tuesday night we had a meeting with the stake president and the mission president, that was wonderful.
Thursday I gave my first trainning to the zone, it was soo wonderful. It reminded me student body, but churchy! We talked about how we need to Love our area, and become the owners of it, we taught them how they can achieve the normas de excelencia, and by doing so we become pure, and purified. then we talked about how we need to be missionaries who do 5 things at the same time, not 5 things at separte times. The zone really loved, we had a lot of comments about it. Its so cool how the Lord has prepared me throughout my life to be here, in this position to learn more. I know understand why I did a lot of leadership throughout high schoool, why i took speech class. The lord was molding me into a missionary! I love it!
I just about know the whole area, out here in casa grande, I have gotten to know the leaders, and this week we taught every lesson with a member it was wonderful. ohh man, then in our ward, a new bishop was called because the past bishop has like 72 years, hes an oldy, anyways, we got to the church and my companion presented me to a menos activo family, i had never met them yet, anyways the dad, looked at me and told me it was such a pleasure to meet me, anyways, i was very impressed by him, but hes been less active for quite a few years, but he was going to be an alma rescued really soon, and then the stake president stood up and announced the new bishop, haha it was the less active father, Bishop Enriquez. The Lord rescues people a little bit faster then we think, especially when he calls them to be bishop!! so great!
I sure have learned a lot this past week, Its such a rewarding expierence to be a missionary in this day and age. We are in the marvillous Work of Salvation, with a temple. We went on saturday to the temple, and to just see so many people coming to the temple as families, there was such a spirit present, the spirit of Eijah, In the past I have been able to expierence this spirit and its just a spirit of joy and happiness forever, for the eternity. All of this is possilbe because of the infiinte Atonement, of our Lord Jesus Christ! Got a Quote, [A cathedral without windows, a face without eyes, a field without flowers, an alphabet without vowels, a contienet without rivers, a night without stars, a sky without a sun...these would not be so sad as a SOUL WITHOUT CHRIST.]
I know he lives, he is at the head of this great and marvillous latter day work!
