The work is going to change, we are going to work harder then Ive ever worked in my life, and the joy is going to be incredible! I fear the day that I move from this area because It will be one of the hardest things Ive ever done in my life.
Hey yall, Its been a fantastic week here in Peru, so many things are still the same, and so many things are changing everyday! Its been such a blessing to serve in this great part of the vineyard and it holds a huge part of my heart! The greatest blessing in all my life is being here right now, while the spirit of the Temple is so strong. The temple has been such a big part of my life and now I have the greatest blessing to bring souls to the house of Lord, living souls! Im not sure what I Have done to receive such a blessing or what I did in the before life but im just trying everyday to help these people prepare to enter in the House of Lord with there families! The work is going to change, we are going to work harder then Ive ever worked in my life, and the joy is going to be incredible! I fear the day that I move from this area because It will be one of the hardest things Ive ever done in my life, especially because 3 days after is the open house for the temple! The greatest joy is that I believe I will be able to see all the ward, and converts in the temple...which brings a little glimmer of light! haha but hey, I still have 5 weeks here to do and put all of me into this area! Alot of miracles happened this past week! I would like to talk about three! the first about our investigador Auturo, he has 19 years, hes a genius anyways hes doing great! We had a lesson with him on saturday night, It was a great lesson about Adan y Eva, we tried our best to answer his doubts, and then we finished with a prayer. Right after the prayer Auturo just shared how this past week has been full of blessings and miracles. He told us that the day of rest really brings blessings. Last sunday he went to church for the first time and we promised him a lot of blessings that if he went he would be blessed throughout the week! The lord fullfills his promises! DyC 82:10 Its an obligation. It was one of the happiest feelings in my mission to feel the spirit in that way, especailly when he said, I just want to go to church every sunday for the rest of my life! Hes a really great kid, and friend! He is looking at being baptized in Abril 18. I will keep you updated on that! The second comes from a menos activo family were teaching The family Carrasco, they have been mas or menos for about a year. They got in a moto accident and now they are really serious about activating themselves anways during church this sundayPepe the dad came and found us and asked us to give his daughter a blessing of Health, so I anointed and he gave the blessing. It was a great moment. After he just gave me hug, and didnt let go for a few minutes. Ill never forget that moment. Its a family really close to my heart! They will be active or almas rescues after conference! the last Moment comes from Feliepe, our last baptism in Enero. He has about 2 months, anyways he came with us to a lesson a week ago with Auturo, and this sunday he wanted to go out and teach with us again. Well yah lets go! So we got him at 3pm and he went home at about 9:30pm we taught 5 excellent lessons with him, he just wanted to keep teaching and teaching, he loved it! It was a wonderful expierence for me to see how he is being converted to the Gospel!
The funny story of the day comes from one of my best friends in the area! Bishop Tirado! haha were going through a few trials in the ward, and he wanted to talk with us for a few minutes so we took us in his car, we went a bought some ice cream, parked his car under a tree in my Parque tacna and just talked for a good while! haah I love that guy so much! Ill never forget eating Ice cream with the bishop! we then changed ties after that, got a groovy purple tie!!!
Hey everyone I love you all, have a great Easter, find everyway possible to apply the Atonement in your life, especially through the convenants we have made, also make this conference the best youve ever had!!!!
